This summer so far, I have made some new recipes and on my dad’s birthday I wanted to share a recipe that he loves. I have made and experimented many times to perfect this recipe and I hope you all make it and share.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Melted Butter
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 Tbsp Salt

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized bowl take all the wet ingredients with the sugar and mix.
  • If you have some bubbles on top then don’t worry, it is just because of the melted butter’s fat.
  • Once wet ingredients mixed, take another small bowl and combine the dry ingredients.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and keep mixing until fully combined.
  • Then take a frying pan and warm it up on medium-low heat.
  • Once the frying pan is heated take a small amount of butter and only place it on the pan once, not for every crepe.
  • Slowly put a scoop of batter on the pan and use the scoop to spread the batter.
  • Once it has been about 30 to 45 seconds lift one side of the crepe to see if the bottom is cooked.
  • I the bottom is cooked then flip and leave it there for about 20 seconds.
  • After 20 seconds place on a dish and put whatever you want on top or inside the crepe.
