Over the last couple of weeks, I have been creating a new website. At the beginning of the process, I was not willing to change the website as I would have to adjust and embrace change which is not always fun. That got me thinking on how everyone nowadays likes to stay in his or her comfort zone, as it gives feelings of calmness, relaxation, and security. Eventually, though, something comes along to shake us out of it. That something is called change and change happens to us all as it is just simply a part of life. Though embracing change feels difficult it is a habit that all of us should have. Once you start looking at change as a good thing, you’ll be amazed at some of the benefits that can follow.

There are many ways how change helps us become better people. Change teaches you to be flexible and it gets us out of our same old boring routine, especially when you directly embrace it instead of being forced to embrace it, it will also help maintain a positive attitude, and it will help us break our negative thought patterns. Without being forced to accept changes, you might never learn the true measure of your own strength including your ability to adapt in new and interesting ways. Change helps you grow and it forces us to adapt in ways we have never experienced which are good for growth and development in our own lives and sometimes our professional life. Change makes you more compassionate and caring toward others. Change offers opportunities, in either big or small ways and it could have a domino effect providing you with more choices than you have thought of. Over the weekend for my dad’s birthday, I experienced change on a whole new level. I created a new website and I would love to hear your thoughts as this was a major learning for me. After experiencing change I want you all to experience it even if is it is in small ways, I promise you that you will become a happier person. This change will lead me towards more opportunities and hopefully, it will give me the chance to keep on web developing and give me a brighter future.

Like any new habit, embracing change takes some practice. The next time you’re presented with a change that seems a little intimidating just remind yourself of all the positive impacts that could come, not only on your own life but on the lives of those around you as well.
